Remain steady, You are in a Molting Phase

​

Beginning October, the Lord gave me a vision of an Eagle plucking out its feathers, and said to me, many are in a molting season. As I began to pray, seek the Lord, research and study the word, the vision became clearer. A molting season is a phase where birds shed their feathers at a specific time of the year. The eagle is the only bird in the animal kingdom that goes through molting once in its lifespan. The molting process of the eagle is quite a fascinating and inspiring story, and those that survive the molting process are said to grow STRONGER than what they were in their youth. The reason why eagles molt late in their life is because, over time, their wings become heavy with dirt and oil, beaks and talons start to break, and their eyesight becomes weak. For these graceful predators, molting is a way of rejuvenating all their appendages so that they can lead a longer life.

When eagles become old, their feathers, beak, and claws start withering. They need to transform themselves so that they can live longer. Therefore, they undergo molting, and to be safe from predators, they choose a secure valley to start this process. They pluck out their wings, break off their beak by smashing it on a rock, and rub off their talons so that they are completely removed from their claws. Now, the main question is how does the eagle survive this process? Many eagles die during molting, due to the pain. As eagles cannot hunt during this time, they are dependent on their brothers and sisters, for food. Researchers believe that the eagles that survive this gruesome transformation, emerge STRONGER, FITTER and SHARPER than before.

Beloved, the molting phase is necessary for the higher dimension God is calling you to. The molting process will endow you with inner strength, fortitude, resilience and agility needed to stand and withstand in this next phase.  The Lord shall say concerning you, is this not a brand plucked out of the fire? He shall place a new garment of honor upon you at the end of this phase. Zechariah 3:2. Endurance is key in this molting phase. The race is not to the swift nor to the strong but to those who endure to the end. Ecclesiastes 9:11. The molting phase will make you stronger and fitter spiritually, psychologically and emotionally for what is ahead. It will fine tune your hearing, sharpen your inner sight and refine your discernment. As you wait upon the Lord in this phase, I declare you will not grow tired, for those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, I declare you will mount up with wings as eagles, I declare you will run and not grow weary, walk and not faint. I declare you will do all things because Christ will strengthen you. Philippians 4:13. As you get fortified in the place of prayer, worship and study of Gods' word, I declare you are coming out as pure gold and in victory. You are a winner. Beloved, your season of transformation, restructuring, endurance, perseverance and rejuvenation is not in vain. Remain steady and unmovable, abounding in the work of the Lord for your labor is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58.

Downshift, You are getting close

​

As I was meditating on the word this past week, the Lord began to share this word and strategy with me. He said,"some are downshifting because they are getting close".  What an oxymoron, I thought, as I perplexed on the underlying meaning of this word. Should one not shift forward as they endeavor to get to their destination? As I pondered, researched and waited on the Lord, he led me to the "Theory of Downshifting" as it relates to the analogy of an 18 wheeler truck driving uphill to arrive at its destination.

On this wise, the concept of downshifting takes into account the WEIGHT of a truck. When going uphill, a truck needs to SUPPLY MORE POWER to the wheels to COUNTER THE FORCE of gravity pulling it down the slope. If the truck engine roars and whines, it is struggling, and it is probably in too high of a gear. That truck eventually starts slowing down dramatically, even though the driver has it on a high gear and has been applying constant pressure to the gas. Driving uphill with a forward shift can make a truck come to a complete STOP which can cause traffic backup, and even worse, a collision. When a truck is HEAVY and on its way up a hill, a driver must be well skilled to know WHEN and HOW to DOWNSHIFT so he can get to the destination. The concept of down-shifting helps MAINTAIN the pull on the truck.

The theory of downshifting implies that when driving uphill, a truck needs EXTRA POWER to make it through sharp turns. Hence the driver must downshift to the appropriate gear before entering a new turn as he drives uphill so as to be able to power through the turn effectively, if needed, and MAINTAIN THAT POWER WHILE ASCENDING THE HILL. Shifting is much different than with an EMPTY trailer.

Dearly beloved, on the road to destiny, sometimes you may feel like you are going downward or even backwards instead of forward, as expected. During those times, God is placing within you the EXTRA POWER that is needed to SUSTAIN you on each level as you go higher to your destination. It is dangerous to arrive at your destiny without the POWER necessary to SUSTAIN the WEIGHT of what you are carrying. This grounding power is necessary. During those times you feel like you are shifting down instead of upwards, God is regulating your equilibrium and setting your momentum to handle the race on a STEADY PACE. Before honor is humility. The children of Israel had to cross the Jordan before reaching the Promised Land. Genesis 15:13-14. The word 'Jordan'  comes from the Hebrew word
'Yardena' which means ' GOING DOWN'. It is not just about arriving at the destination or promised land, but one must carry sufficient POWER to be sustained and grounded in this new place.

God is building the RIGHT FOUNDATION so that your house will be able to withstand EXTERNAL and INTERNAL PRESSURE (Luke 6:38). The restructuring is taking place intrinsically and this stage cannot be rushed so yield unto it. It is not just about the destination but you must arrive loaded with GREAT SUBSTANCE. Your feet must have enough POWER to take territory. Every place the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you. Joshua 1:3. Beloved, allow God to make you into a threshing sledge, new and sharp, with many teeth so you can thresh mountains and crush them, and reduce the hills to chaff.

There is much said about a plane taking off the ground, but think with me for a moment about what happens to a plane when its about to land at its destination (DESTINY). FULL POWER is needed for take off but stable GROUNDING SUSTAINING POWER is needed to ARRIVE and REMAIN AT THE DESTINATION. As the plane approaches its destination, it begins to descend. During the descent, the spoilers on top of the wings may open slightly; the spoilers decrease lift and act as brakes to prevent the aircraft from going too fast. What you think is working against you is actually working for you, if you perceive correctly. If you wear the right lens, you will see that it is actually getting you close to your destination.

Dearly beloved, as you get close, I decree and declare that by God, you will run against a troop, and leap over a wall. Psalms 18:29. I declare the spirit of wisdom and understanding rest upon you. I declare the spirit of revelation and knowledge be your portion. Because the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, I declare that God is illuminating your spirit so you will see his hand at work behind the scenes. Proverbs 20:27. Beloved, I declare unto you that all things are working together for your good and for his glory for the Lord knows the plans he has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you but to bring you into an EXPECTED END. Romans 8:28 and Jeremiah 29:11. Appropriate this phase by completely TRUSTING in the Lord with all your heart and leaning not on your own understanding for the set time to favor you has come. Psalms 102:13. Focus ahead. Set your face as flint. Isaiah 50:7.

You are breaking FORTH, you are breaking THROUGH and you are breaking OUT !
